1-1 last week. The NE loss was kind of ridiculous as they almost seemed to play the last five minutes of the game in such a way that they were trying to not cover the spread by any means possible. However, they didn't really play well enough to win by more than 13 points anyway so I can't really call that game a bad beat. Tom Brady is obviously injured, and not in the fake "Tom Brady Probable" way that he was injured in past seasons.
In the other game we only covered due to a missed XP, but the Bears totally dominated the game and should have won by more.
Week 17 is always a bit of a joke in the NFL. It is just too much to expect these teams to play this extremely dangerous CTE-inducing sport at full effort when the games don't matter. With that said these are some attractive plays, and even if you don't think the teams are going to try their best, these games are probably worth betting.
The only game I am passing strictly for motivation reasons is the Saints game as they just have absolutely nothing to play for there and betting that game is a total crap shoot. Even then I would probably still prefer the Saints as their backups trying at 90% figure to be better than what is left of the Panthers.
